Collection methods

Automated review request emails

The workhorse.Yuko waits a configurable number of days after order completion, then sends a personalized email with a one-click link to the review form. Works for every order automatically.

Review reminders

Recovers non-responders.A gentle follow-up 3–5 days after the first request, sent only to customers who haven’t reviewed yet. Adds roughly +50% to your response rate.

On-site collection form

Always-on review capture.Embedded form on product pages, a dedicated “Write a Review” page, or the customer account area — for shoppers who want to leave feedback without waiting for the email.

Manual review requests

One-off sends.From Reviews → Orders, click the email icon on any order to send a review request on demand — perfect for late fulfillments or imported historical orders.

Product reviews

Star rating + written text (optional) + photos (optional), tied to a specific product. Appears on product pages, star-rating widgets, and your Google Shopping feed. This is the default — every Yuko install collects these out of the box.

Before you start

Review collection works best once the basics are in place:
  • Yuko plugin installed and connected
  • Orders syncing correctly to the Yuko dashboard
  • Your email From Name and Reply Email set in Account → General
  • Branding applied (logo + brand color) so emails look on-brand
